Job description and responsibilities

This is a newly created position, where the employee will take part in forming the position, tasks and duties.

The employee will work closely with and report to the Managing Director and  be part of the local management team with responsibility for administrative tasks, working closely with and co-ordinating with group functions, have personnel responsibility, follow-up internal policies and routines and be involved in projects, tasks and duties based on responsibilities or other tasks delegated.


Key tasks of this diverse and challenging role include:

  • Responsible for administrative tasks and local support functions
  • Responsible for local office, vendors and partners
  • Responsible for local client contracts and contractual work
  • Assist managing director in day-to-day tasks
  • Prepare and execute on internal capacity and resource allocation
  • Prepare and follow-up budget
  • Internal and external reporting
  • Follow-up and execute internal audit of process execution and process controls
  • Liaising with group functions
  • Personnel manager and liaise with group HR function
  • Responsible for local HMS execution and liaise with safety representative and group HR function
  • Responsibility for recruitment
  • Assistance with education and training, both internally and externally
  • Assistance in projects and other ad-hoc tasks related to Equatex’ business.

Depending on background, skills, interests and requirements, candidates might get involved in other tasks and responsibilities.


Qualifications, skills & knowledge:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business or law or other related education
  • Business administration and manager experience
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • High motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong operational, analytical and process understanding
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, oral and written
  • Knowledge of equity compensation programs is beneficial
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting and law is beneficial
