When Equatex clients Novartis and Siemens AG return from this year’s Global Equity Organization (GEO) Annual Conference, they will each bring home one of the share plan industry’s most coveted accolades. At last night’s 2018 GEO Awards ceremony in Orlando, Florida, they were awarded for “Best Use of Technology” and “Most Innovative and Creative Plan Design” respectively. The winners were selected by a panel of judges composed of leading equity compensation professionals.
Equatex Chief Markets Officer Frank Juhre said: “We congratulate Novartis and Siemens AG on this outstanding achievement. Winning a GEO Award represents one of the highest distinctions in our industry and underscores the commitment of these companies to design and deliver leading share and compensation plans for the benefit of their participants. We are excited to have been working with our clients along the way to their success.”
Dennis Weinhold, Corporate Head Equity Programs at Novartis, said: “When implementing our technology solution, we put the needs of our plan participants first, while considering all compliance aspects. We’re highly pleased to see that this approach has paid off and that the way we use technology to enhance the value of our share plans has been recognised by industry experts.”
The GEO Awards formed part of the 2018 GEO Annual Conference, which featured the theme of “Prepare for tomorrow’s global challenges”. The event was designed to address the hottest issues in global share plans and executive compensation and featured a line-up of high-calibre keynote speakers as well as more than 50 breakout sessions with international experts.
Congratulations to Novartis and Siemens AG as well as all other winners.
